WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM SAFERUS
Saferus’ substantive curriculum satisfies all requirements established by the State of Illinois for your concealed carry license.
- Safety, both in the class and as the foundation for your future with firearms, is absolutely paramount.
- Saferus’ commitment to reality based training means that mental preparation, firearm handling, including holster work, presentation from concealment, fundamental marksmanship, and dry firing/drills will be emphasized.
- Saferus’ instructors, subject to ongoing rigorous training, are dedicated to maximizing the benefits of the training for each person in the class.
- Saferus’ structured class schedule is developed to assure an effective mix of discussion and active drills. We make every effort to insure that each participant is fully engaged.

We expect you to bring an open mind and a learning attitude. We welcome serious questions and input.
- We expect your serious focus on the lessons, including a strong work ethic during discussions and drills.
- We expect you to have reviewed the Welcome letter and to arrive at class properly equipped.
- We expect you to take critics and suggestions constructively.
- We expect your absolute commitment to all safety rules during class.
